Privacy Notice
Scope
This Privacy Notice applies to Aura Mirror, a service operated by Noir Mirror Studio. Aura Mirror is an app-first personal styling product with photo-based Studio Preview, queued generation, guided capture, and progressive Studio Twin fidelity.
Aura Mirror is not a physical smart mirror, a hardware product, a live 5D scanner, a medical measurement service, or an identity-verification service.
Information We Collect
- Account, login, profile, and household profile information.
- Style preferences, onboarding answers, wardrobe context, and outfit context.
- Uploaded wardrobe, Vault, garment, and primary photo content.
- Capture-session metadata used for Studio Preview and Studio Twin features.
- Generated Studio Preview outputs and related render job records.
- Subscription, render-credit, and AI-session ledger records.
- Beta feedback, device or browser context, recent errors, IP address, and user agent where available.
- Legal acceptance state and consent event history.
Why We Use Information
Noir Mirror Studio uses personal information to create and secure accounts, maintain household profiles, generate styling recommendations, create user-requested Studio Preview outputs, preserve selected primary photo and Studio Twin state, process wardrobe and garment uploads, enforce consent and guardian rules, enforce credit and AI-session limits, troubleshoot beta failures, and respond to access, correction, deletion, and support requests.
Photo And Twin Processing
Photo-based preview and Studio Twin features require explicit Photo & Twin Consent. If that consent is missing, expired, revoked, or blocked by the legal kill-switch, protected camera, upload, preview, Twin, and asset routes must fail closed.
Aura Mirror does not claim to create a medical body model, perform a full body scan, provide exact measurements, or guarantee garment fit. Studio Preview is a visual styling aid.
Children And Household Profiles
Household profiles are guardian-managed. A child profile must not use photo-based Studio Preview or Studio Twin features unless the guardian-facing notice is accepted together with Photo & Twin Consent. The adult account holder is responsible for profile setup, review, consent, deletion, correction, and support requests for household profiles.
Service Providers And Cross-Border Processing
Aura Mirror may use third-party service providers to operate the app, including OpenAI for styling and reasoning tasks, FASHN for virtual try-on rendering, and database, hosting, storage, support, and monitoring providers selected for beta deployment.
Personal information may be processed outside Ontario or Canada. Under PIPEDA, Noir Mirror Studio remains accountable for personal information transferred to service providers for processing and must use contractual or other reasonable safeguards.
Retention And Deletion
Aura Mirror keeps personal information only as long as needed for product operation, consent history, legal or accounting obligations, beta operations, fraud prevention, safety, or user-requested history. Current deletion controls include account deletion, profile deletion, primary photo deletion, Photo & Twin Consent revocation scrub, Archive item deletion, favorite deletion, closet item deletion, closet ingestion cleanup, and retention sweeps for expired asset records.
User Choices And Requests
Users may request access, correction, deletion, consent revocation, support review, and information about service provider processing. Some records may be retained where needed for legal, accounting, security, fraud prevention, dispute, or audit reasons.
